Barack Obama, the 44th President of the United States, was born on August 4, 1961, in Honolulu, Hawaii. He is currently 61 years old.

Obama's father, Barack Obama Sr., was a Kenyan economist, and his mother, Ann Dunham, was an American anthropologist. Obama's parents divorced when he was two years old, and he was raised by his mother and stepfather, Lolo Soetoro.

Obama attended Columbia University in New York City and Harvard Law School. After graduating from Harvard, Obama worked as a community organizer in Chicago. He was elected to the Illinois State Senate in 1996 and served until 2004.

Obama's Age: Presidency and Legacy

In 2004, Obama was elected to the United States Senate. He served in the Senate for four years before being elected President of the United States in 2008.

Obama was re-elected to a second term in 2012. He left office in 2017 at the age of 55.

During his presidency, Obama signed into law the Affordable Care Act, which expanded health insurance coverage to millions of Americans. He also oversaw the end of the Iraq War and the killing of Osama bin Laden.
