Bruins Look to Improve in Pivotal Matchup

After a Day Away from the Rink, Boston Focuses on Improvements

Toronto

The Bruins, who hold a 2-1 series lead, will be looking to make some improvements ahead of their pivotal matchup against the Maple Leafs. After taking a day away from the rink, the Bruins returned to practice on Monday and focused on several areas that they need to improve upon.

One area that the Bruins will need to improve upon is their power play. The Bruins have only converted on 2 of their 16 power play opportunities in the playoffs so far, and they will need to be more efficient with the man advantage if they want to win this series.

Another area that the Bruins will need to improve upon is their penalty kill. The Bruins have allowed 4 power play goals in the playoffs so far, and they will need to be better at killing penalties if they want to win this series.

The Bruins will also need to be better at puck possession. The Maple Leafs have been able to control the puck for long stretches of time in the first three games of the series, and the Bruins will need to do a better job of winning puck battles and keeping the puck out of their own zone.

The Bruins will be looking to make some improvements in all three of these areas ahead of their next game against the Maple Leafs. If they can do that, they will be in a good position to win the series.
